I was very nervous because I had never had an operation or undergone general anaesthetic before, but the pre op consultation did much to allay my worries. It was very throrough and didn't feel rushed in any way. The staff were highly professional, efficient, extremely friendly and kind. I felt very confident that I was in good hands. I was given lots of information and support before and on the day of the surgery.
