John Radcliffe is a nice enough hospital, and I found the nursing & operating-theatre staff generally very helpful and caring and kind. I didn't have pleasant follow-up experience, though, and was treated with suspicion and rudeness (I don't why these particular persons chose to be nurses, if they treat people that way). Unfortunately, I know of plenty of other people reporting similar experiences with other staff there, and therefore there isn't any way that I could ever recommend this hospital to others. When staff don't seem to want to try to understand what you are experiencing, and instead, treat you like an idiot, it can be fairly stressful. In all fairness, I guess most people would be well treated at John Radcliffe, but I wouldn't advise going there if your condition is complex.
