I was an inpatient for 7days. My care was very good overall. The essential care was available, eg. assisted hygiene, mouth care when not eating, medication on time, observations carried out. My only fault was communication from certain staff members. The majority were fantastic, others just did the job and went home.
Arrived at A&E at 9.15 am and was treated very quickly and efficiently. All staff from receptionist, radiographer and sister (Sara) were exceptionally pleasant and made me feel at ease in the assessment and treatment of my injury. Left A&E about 90 minuites later, fully satisified with the treatment I had received.
I am sure this level of service and care was achieved more from a genuine desire to deliver exceptional patient service than meeting government imposed targets.
Thanks to all for some great care

Nurses attentive, kind good on explaining things. Treatment excellent service, as good as a 5 star hotel so thank you all.
The staff were friendly, knowledgable and helpful and really put me at ease and explained clearly about my son's illness and his treatment. Thank you.
The only improvement could be a vending machine.
Ward staff were good outstanding but because of disabilities some areas could be improved upon.
Food was good, nothing to be improved upon.

The ward has a good all round community feeling and spirit. Well looked after.
Nurses were nice, explained what they were doing. Tried to get us seen as soon as possible.
