i am verey happy with the service
Every member of staff I came across in the hospital was very friendly, professional and caring. I felt that all my treatment was well explained and choices were given to me. The hospital is easily accessed by car and public transport and it is easy to find your way round.
I don’t think you can improve the services at a&e at the current state of the nhs. 15 plus hrs on a trolly 2 to a side cubicle with a screen in between everybody is shoulder to shoulder it’s complete chaos and a joke to be personally honest and a big
mistake ready to happen people getting treated in waiting areas ??
And to add to be honest it’s not very comfortable when you can here the doctors nurses and other staff talking to each other also saying it’s ridiculous and a joke in here it doesn’t give you much confidence. It really is a very uncomfortable place to be when you are generally very unwell.
.
The only thng id like to say is. If you wish to stay this good. DONT close Ealing Hospital. In favour of others in this area! Ealing is a good Hospital and my treatment here was first rate!
The staff and in particular Dr Rooney are great, friendly, respectful, kind and discrete . They make you feel at ease and I am able to talk to them about my worries.
The last question was not relevant to me.
Question about family member is irrelevant but has to be answered; I've therefore selected Not at all, because there isn't a "not relevant" option.
Arriving at only 2cm/3cm and in pain the midwife then was brilliant and explained the options I had. I decided to go home but came back after 2 and half hours and was under the care of Angie Willis who was absolutely amazing and explained and empathised amazingly. The atomosphere was so relaxed and friendly which helped loads when scared and in a lot of pain in labour!! The privacy within the labour/pool rooms was nice as well. Angie really was just fantastic and I know there were times where I was a right pain (!) but she was still so calm and delivered my beautiful baby girl safely into the world and kept my husband informed of what was going on as well.
Due to the time that My daughter was born, it was hand over pretty shortly after. The midwife care we then had was once again perfect under Leigh Reedman who looked after me for the rest of my stay. Leigh came at the time I was most scared as my placenta was stuck and My husband was unable to come with me. Leigh held my hand the whole way through and ensured I understood what was happening and that I was okay. She went above and beyond for me and I really could not thank her enough. The care I received was just out of this world.
Awful care of my late mother which resulted in her death. Currently going through large complaints procedure.
Great hospital which deserves the praise, Thank you.
