As always the Nuffield gave excellent service and care
The Nuffield is a wonderful hospital. It's outstanding care and professionalism is of the highest order.
The staff that cared for me after my tummy tuck were truly amazing!
I felt I had to write a review because I was quite disappointed with the service I received in certain areas. When we arrived, my friend Julia and myself, I was asked for my credit card. I told the receptionist that I had sent a cheque. No apology. We were taken to my room and told on the way up that someone would come and serve us coffee, no one came. We had to ask for the coffee. Then we ordered lunch but were told that Julia would have to pay for hers. I was extremely impressed with my treatment by Professor Campbell who treated me with great dignity and respect. His team were also very kind to me. We arrived at 9.30 but I was not operated on until 1.30. This seemed a long time to me to wait, especially as my friend had collected me from Budleigh and then driven me to Exeter, so she had to get up very early!! We were disappointed with the service of some of the nurses. One who was very kind took my blood pressure but did not come back and give me the results. Professor Campebll said if I had spent a "penny" I could go home so got all prepared for this event only to be told by this nurse that I could not go home as my blood pressure was high. I told her I was seeing my GP next day and that seemed fine. So we went home.
