A student 'nurse' who was unaccompanied came into my room to remove a saline dipper (a needle attached to my vein), she removed it incorrectly and blood began to pour from my hand, the nurse quickly left the room (and did not call any help and left us there, she 'panicked') and my mother was shouting in the hallway for help, we pressed the emergency button several times but no one came, I lost lots of blood and felt dozy, after my mother was shouting in the hallway the receptionist called a nurse and she fixed it, at this moment my upper hand was completely covered with blood and the bed sheets were also covered in blood, the nurses noticed my mother taking pictures of the scene, two nurses quickly came into the room to remove the blood stained bed-sheets (seemed like a first priority - remove the evidence) . The nurse who fixed the saline dipper pretended as If I lost a very small amount of blood and as if I was over-reacting. My mother asked what was the name of the student nurse (so we could make a complaint) and she turned her head with attitude and said her first name, and left the room. An hour later the student and the 'sister' (top-top nurse) came in and the student began apologizing, (mostly to my mother and sister and not me) they said it shouldn't of happened and it was her mistake, she said she was in training, as if I'm a guinea pig & training while she was unaccompanied. The 'sister' told us they would inform us in 2 days on how to complain (since we requested it and wanted to take action by complaints and if necessary law) and after 2 days they did not send us anything, we found out how to complain online anyway. The receptionist also claimed she did not know how to complain when asked, if it was not for my mother staying with me I would probably die in this place, it must be very cheap for surgeons to send you to this hospital, a private hospital where you pay premium price and suffer because student 'nurses' can't take out a dipper from your hand without making you fear for your life, I was crying in the hospital because I was put in so much shock, this incident temporarily scarred me even after the surgery, and why is there students in a PRIVATE hospital? Place is also unhygienic, I opened the first drawer and saw rubbish. I was so shocked to see this, countries like Afghanistan or Pakistan healthcare is much better than this, please stay safe anyone who goes to this place. They were very good at covering each others back to get rid of the blame after this incident happened, also they all worked together and made as much excuses as possible & you will get no sympathy, they just cover each others back all the time. We are awaiting court action
