Staff from reception via nurses/ x Ray/thru to surgery are wonderful. The food is exceptional. Spotlessly clean. Waiting room with drink provided in a pleasant atmosphere. Faultless indeed

The Nuffield Chichester staff were excellent and very caring.
But the buildings looked rather worn and in need of refurbishment.
There seemed to be no freshly cooked food available although several catering staff had little to do all day outside the wards. I found NHS food in Worthing hospital much better.

Had toe fusion surgery in April 2025 under the care of Mr Edward Dawe as day surgery. Cannot fault the Nuffield, Chichester in any way. Their service from Reception, to nursing, catering, consultants is first class. No variation from first class service I received following full knee replacement at Nuffield in March 2024.

From the staff member who admitted me to the porters and cleaners the staff were all amazing, encouraging and kind. They really took the time to ensure that I was as comfortable and as pain free as possible throughout my stay.
I wasn’t very hungry but the food was good, rooms small but comfortable and very clean.
An excellent little hospital.

This was my first treatment in The Nuffield Chichester and I would have no hesitation in recommending it as a hospital
The staff were all very pleasant and attentive and kept me informed at every stage
The atmosphere in the hospital was very welcoming and it is obviously a great place to work

My preferred hospital, clean, mostly friendly staff, complaints (non-medical) are dealt with, mostly professional staff, unfortunately you are left alone for a bit when waiting for surgery once they’ve completed the preliminaries and then given short notice to go down to theatre but I appreciate it can be tricky to do otherwise as surgery day timings are emerging in the moment, overall would highly recommend
