I went into the Alex as a day patient for elective handsurgery to correct Dupuytens. The entire experience from consultation, checkin, pre meds, surgery day, recovery time and discharge were excellent. The real icing on the cake though was the physiotherapy treatment that I have experienced post surgery with Esther Marchant. She is so very capable, empathetic and encouraging...a real superstar.
This is how medical care should be delivered in the UK today.
