I was full of trepidation facing cataract surgery on 10/09/21, but my apprehension dissipated once I entered the building. The staff were amazing; friendly and approachable and available to answer any questions or concerns. I was totally blown away when my surgeon advised me he operates with music playing, what would I like to hear. When I walked into the operating theatre it was like entering the Albert Hall to hear an Elgar concert. The care and consideration given by all staff on duty that day, especially my surgeon was exemplary. The discharge nurse, Dawn was wonderful and explained exactly what I was to expect post surgery and I was given very clear instructions on how to proceed including advice on administering eye drops. I was then able to contact a close friend who is scheduled for a similar operation to allay her fears. Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of this Tetbury Hospital.
