This is a review of a recent visit, Doctors ,nurse's of all grades are amazing, couldn't be better. But, when had to go to Pharmacy to pick up a prescription that had been ordered electronically 5 hours before, was told they hadn't printed it off yet and to wait. Screen advised a 32 minute wait and went down to 28, still waiting 1 hour later after asking them if everything was ok, was told 'we're busy'. Attitudes of the staff was pretty poor, have been a member of Sunderland Royal staff for 23 years and felt ashamed of this department. Pharmacy is possibly the last dept most people visit and l think lets the hospital down significantly. SORT IT OUT.
