Great confidence inMr,Krishnan's work and his team. Very caring staff on the ward despite being really busy. Meals were good. First problem on ward was that my broken femur needed traction and two nurses tried to set it up,but they had no idea how to do it and I was in a lot of pain. Fortunately my husband was there and was able to do it for them.TRAINING required please. Secondly, I was asked to move to the main ward from the side ward on the first day after my surgery. I subsequently learned that the bed was needed because of infection on the ward. I resisted this request as I feared I'd succumb to the infection* see below. I was asked twice more which upset me, stalling my emotional recovery. Thirdly, although the cleaners were very nice, some more thorough than others, none were seen by me to clean the patient chair*. If I had moved into the space vacated by the infected patient the chair could have harboured the bacteria and/or viruses from her. Also my seat had a deep tear.
