The very pleasant interactions with each of the nurses I met was very good. That said the receptionist I met with at the beginning and again at the end when I asked for a time to fix a check up appointment needs help. Perhaps, in staff training, if someone demonstrated how off -putting a detached, formal, impersonal interview can be? Everyone can have off days of course and I am sure the lady's job is a difficult one. I feel the receptionist person who handled my arrival and departure didn't treat me like a worthwhile fellow human. In every other respect I think that Sunderland Emergency eye care is excellent. Persuading the Post office Telephone service to repair their pay-phone in the lobby would be a good idea too.
