Having fallen in the street and broken my wrist, I was taken to Urgent Care and seen by the lovely doctor who stayed with me throughout the whole process of blood tests, X-rays and a cat scan. It was planned that I would have surgery the following day as the break was severe. However my blood works caused some concern and I was asked to go to A&E that evening for more tests. I received the same caring and intensive treatment there. Following two informative calls from orthopaedic surgeons, I had surgery yesterday and stayed for one and a half days on George Perkins Ward. The staff are lovely, efficient, helpful and caring and I am so grateful to all of them. So impressed with St. Thomas Hospital! Thank you!
