Dr Mearl Makwara.
in Maxillofacial so very good and understanding, a credit to the hospital.
Care in with a foot injury that would need X-ray. WAited 2 hours to be given a form for X-ray. Then waited for results to be reviewed. Form could have been given earlier by nurse practitioner.
Waiting times. More staff, makes you wonder what we pay national insurance for.
I don't know, I've been here over 2 hours with a wound that won't stop bleeding, causing my whole foot to go numb- but I still haven't been seen! Past care has been better!
The staff have all been so kind to me and have looked after me well however when I was readmitted I was brought in through A and E. Although the staff were very good, I was left sitting in the front waiting room for all long time on hard seats and it was very cold. I know they were very busy but I was 4 days and I felt very unwell.
It was quite and thorough.
I was told by my doctor to be at St Richards on 19.3.16 to have a CT scan between 9 am and 10 am but I was not on the 1st and was expected on REU leads of bloods tests. Did not see a Dr until 10 am Sunday morning and I'm still none the wiser I may have CT scan Monday I? Not allowed medicines I have brought in even though my Dr has prescribed me than 35 years or more. The nurses are very kind and helpful. But they are so busy.
My care whilst in hospital has been extremely good (1st day) the staff the food and all aspects of my stay could not be faulted.
Thank you on very much.
