The staff who cared for me were very good. They were respectful and understanding. I was however very frustrated by communications from the hospital; I had to repeatedly chase to find out any information regarding a date for my surgery, much to the surprise of the surgeon when I was finally admitted. I experienced appointments being changed with out me being notified which resulted in delays to physio appointments and caused challenges with transportation whilst I could not drive. I feel sorry for the staff who are doing their best within an underfunded system, but my experience of the processes were not positive.
