There was a lack of communication between consultants, doctors and ward doctors other than the notes.
Some of the HCA were poorly trained for the variety of illnesses they have to cope with, with notable exception of Wojieck who is conscientiously dedicated and thorough. The physiotherapist team are dedicated professionals who give excellent personal service.
All the staff are cheerful and friendly. Despite the fact that the food is excellent, there is too much salt, sugar and caffeine for stroke patients. The ward tends to be stuffy (no fresh air) and either too hot or too cold.
