I was told to go there by 111. She rang ahead and said they were expecting me. My husband dropped me off. I went to the door and was told to wait outside. I told the nurse I could not stand and it’s freezing. She just said wait. I looked around the area and found a chair across the road so I went and sat down. I was freezing, shivering I only had a thin fleece on. She came over about 10 minutes later and told me to go to the end of the building through a door. But when I got there it was locked. I waited and was just about to go back around the building when someone else came out and let me in and said you must be freezing. The whole experience was pretty poor on a customer service and compassion level. In the end when the doctor took over I got what I needed but all this takes away from that.

Suggested improvements
Do NOT make someone who has been told to come to a and e for reason stand out in the freezing cold. It was on Boxing Day and the temperature was very low.
