I was seen quickly, despite my injury not being very urgent; the COVID procedures were clear and the staff issuing masks etc were all friendly and welcoming; social distancing measures in the waiting room were clear; the doctors were kind and I didn’t feel like the time with them was rushed, even though I could see they were very busy; my injury was treated. I was really impressed and appreciative of the quality of care and the kindness of the staff.
Suggested improvements
I had to speak to psych liaison against my wishes; I was discharged with opioids which I wasn’t aware was going to happen and would have opted not to have if I’d known beforehand.
