Excellent care by Dr Andrew Stone. He showed me my x-rays and explained all I needed to know about my condition and what to expect. Put me at ease which was a big help as I felt very nervous! NAU the staff in dept smiled which is very unusual in my past experience! I am very impressed with my care so far!!

All of the staff who dealt with me, were very kind and helpful. The consultant took time to discuss my problem and point out some of the pros and cons of having an operation.

Very good instructions given verbally. Information also given on Osteoporosis and a follow up with relevant colleague. No one in past have ever thought to give this information even though she has had several major falls/breaks.

Orthopaedic department.
+ Generally pleasant, well lit and comfortable.
+ Plenty of books + magazines available.
- This is my second visit. Both my appointments have been before 9:30, and both times I got seen 20 minutes late.
+ Parking OK.

The care was good, but waiting between departments very tiring. Either there us a shortage of the staff or too many appointments are being made at the same time.
I feel strongly that if the problem is caused by people not attending their* appointments there should be an immediate fine via debit/credit cards of at least £20
*Without prior notification.

Waiting time very short! Robin was very pleasant thorough and encouraging. He gave simple exercises and wrote them down.
