Unfortunately my wife died before being able to access your services apart from Caroline (nurse) who was excellent (she visited home). I have had 3 sessions of counselling with Gary which was also helpful my son the patient 21 has refused help and is currently being seen by AWP MH team my daughter the patient (27) I was in Hampshire - she has still been unable to access appropriate - 2 and 1 support and SPH cannot help out of area - this is not good really.
The staff were very good but the social worker could be improved.
Very friendly staff who know what they were doing. We had different staff everybody and all of them were outstanding, so I just like to say a big thank you to all who helped my wife throughout her illness, thank you.
Support from pharmacy and physio also been good. Hand gel has strong smell - not very pleasant. Prefers single room but admitted as emergency. Very happy overall with care here.
Initial impressions very good and is reassured wife has had some of pressure taken off her.
Doctors and senior staff very caring and informative. Pharmacists also helpful.
Now in single room and happier as when admitted had to share and other occupant wanted to talk all the time!
Praise for food and it's variety.
I liked how kind everyone was.
Having been part of both a care group and a bereavement group I felt there was great empathy towards my situation. As a group we were encouraged to speak of our situations only if we felt we were able to at no time was there any pressure to partake if we felt unable to. I could not think of any way either groups could be improved upon.
Very noisy.
The reassurance it gave that there was a level of coordination frank discussions about our options, and how we might approach problems.
