Previous to this experience I had only understood hospices as offering in-patient care. Now I understand all the outreach and in-home care they offer, and it has been a tremendous help to my family. The experience in palliative care that the nurses have has been so helpful and reassuring to assist us at a very difficult time. The interaction with the local GP and district nursing team has been seamless, and I'm sure ensured that my mum got timely care and medication which otherwise would have been missed if we hadn't had the advice and attention.
I can't thank them enough
