There was absolutely nothing that i could fault regarding the care and compassion shown to my wife in her last days, or to myself.
The emotional support that i recieved made it much easier for me to focus on my wife and to have the guidance and reassurance was invaluble. It enabled me to help my wife, which has helped with the grief (so far).
Also, the trust i felt in the carers enabled me to leave her for short periods and shower / rest although i was very unsettled when not with her.
Knowing that they would be calling after a long night was also a great reassurance.
Its a real pity that you only get to see this level of care and dedication when things are so tough but it is exactly when that is needed.
It was perfect.
To be able to trust people I've only just met, with the most valuble part of my life is so amazing and comforting.
