I really consider myself to have been more than fortunate in finding myself at St. Mary’s under the excellent care of Ms. Ortega, ably supported by her Team, and by the kind and caring staff on Patterson Ward. Not only did Ms. Ortega give a full explanation of the operation prior to the day of surgery; took the time to explain again on the day of the operation, but others of her Team and the Anaesthetist were also willing to listen and respond to any of my questions. Following my surgery, I found follow-up care to be truly faultless. Most patients experience an element of anxiety prior to surgery of any kind, but I have to state that I felt absolute trust in this wonderful surgeon and her Team, and would have no hesitation in recommending St. Mary's as I found my experience under the care of Ms. Ortega and her colleagues to have been a positive one.
