I found the 1.5 year wait for the service referred for an ADHD diagnosis painful. I was in a very bad way mentally alongside my menopause impacting my life negatively. When I was able to access the service I found all the staff really helpful and very supportive from the admin team to, my assessor and medication dispensing. My diagnosis and subsequent medication has truly changed my life. Thank you.

The waiting for a diagnosis is too long (as you're aware). Patients are already experiencing difficulty in their life and are in desperate need of support, so to have to wait over 2 years to get an appointment for a diagnosis is terrible and life threatening.
