I felt my mum was treated like a whole person, the nurse took her time and we didn’t feel rushed at all. I had tried to get help for her previously but had had trouble explaining what was wrong. My mum is very frail and housebound. When the nurse came to assess her and had her admitted to hospital I felt reassured and she made sense of everything. The nurse wrote a letter for the paramedics to take with her. She explained what to expect when my mum becomes more frail and what support services are available to her at home.
