On Sunday 3rd May, I visited Ward 18 St John's Hospital for an operation to rectify damage to a finger badly injured on Saturday. All the staff were absolutely friendly and efficient. Staff met in the corridor (at a distance) were helpful in directions. The procedures were smooth and supportive. I was kept fully informed and made to feel at ease at all times.
In particular the nursing staff on Ward 18 went beyond duty, phoning my partner , who had waited in the car park, to say I was out of theatre.
Well done.
