My experience at St. Hugh's Hospital over the last 3 months has been excellent. After being in considerable pain not being able lift my left arm for over a year the Rheumatology Consultant at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital referred me to Mr. Aravind Desai at St. Hugh's who fully explained and involved me in all decision making for performing a cuff repair operation. The Hospital staff were all friendly, helpful, professional and made the whole experience relatively stress free. At this difficult time with covid I had the confidence that all cleanliness measures and extra precautions were being taken to keep the hospital covid free. I would fully recommend St. Hugh's Hospital to relatives and friends, after only 3 months I have my arm movement back with 90% less pain. Only small communication difficulties between departments could have been improved, which did not impact on my care.
