My GP referred me after an ultra sound scan showed a lump on my liver, the hospital contacted me the same day and arranged for me to speak to a doctor the next day. He sent me forms for various blood tests and arranged a CT scan 2 days later. An appointment was arranged by telephone to see a doctor to discuss the results 5 days after the scan. Within 9 days of referral St Helier had carried out all necessary steps to help me proceed with my medical care.
