I was admitted to St George's Hospital, Atkinson Morley Wing on 27.04.21 for an elective craniotomy. I received excellent care throughout my stay from everyone, the porters, the care assistants, the staff in NITU, all the nurses and staff on Kent ward on 27th/28th April and all the staff on McKissock ward on 29th April until I was discharged on 1st May. The anaesthetists and neurosurgeons all made sure that I knew what was going to happen and everyone had plenty of time to explain everything to me. All the staff were friendly, cheerful and efficient and nothing was too much bother for them. I would especially like to thank Denise, Liam, Jesse and Solice on McKissock ward and Tricia the Clinical Nurse Specialist and Fay, Nida and Tim the excellent Neurosurgeons. You are all amazing people and the NHS is extremely lucky to have you.
