My husband was admitted after a heart attack as identified at the Royal London. The service he got from the minute the ambulance arrived to being discharged several days later was exceptional. Medics, nursing staff and the support team could not have been more professional and friendly. If anything the experience was only marred by the behaviour of another patient in the recovery ward, which of course the staff had to deal with. Recovering from a heart attack but being stressed by the rude and unpleasant behaviour of another patient is not the best situation. Staff handled it as best they could in the circumstances. In terms of the care we received - it was excellent. Thank you the NHS and in particular the Royal London and Barts.
