The sister in the ward was rarely in evidence. The nursing standards varied, and at night I gather was not always efficient. the food was of poor quality. My wife was not given treatment when expected and the nurses seemed very overworked Personally, I have been in King Edward VII (Sister Agnes) Hospital 4 times and there is no comparison in every respect. St Anthony's does not compare well. I have in the past been in St Anthony's myself and it has deteriorated, although the outpatients does seem reasonably efficient. There seems to be no joined up care at the hospital; one has to rely on individuals and the hospital itself seemed to do very little.
