I was admitted to the Spire Alexandra six weeks ago for total hip replacement surgery. Every member of staff I encountered during my two night stay was friendly, approachable, professional and empathetic. From the Reception, Housekeeping and Catering teams to the surgeon, Mr S Jain, the anaesthetist, Graham (who calmed my last minute nerves and quoted statistics for my peace of mind) and all of the nursing, physiotherapy and auxiliary staff who tended to me to ensure my comfort and wellbeing, I was treated with dignity and respect. The hospital was immaculately clean and I felt safe and confident in the care I was shown. Thank you to all.

I had my THR under the NHS and carried out by the Spire Alexandra Hospital. From my first consultation with Mr Jain, I felt very reassured about the procedure. My experience of the day of the operation was very positive and all staff were very reassuring. The anaesthetist and staff help me feel less anxious about the operation. My care at the Spire by all staff there was exceptional. I've had my six week follow-up with a very pleasant gentleman Mr Rohit and he was pleased with my progress. I feel very happy to have had my hip replacement and feel like I am on my way to a new lease of life thank you Mr Jain and all staff I met at Spire Hospital.
The treatment that I received whilst being in this hospital was second to none. I was NHS this time and I have also been a private patient in the past. I must point out that the care, treatment and empathy from all the team be it being from housekeeping, physio, nursing, surgeons etc. Was exactly the same 5 star.
Plans to cover Covid were very good
From my first visit, throughout the operation and my post operation visits all the staff at the Spire Alexandra have been very professional, friendly and helpful. Although I was an NHS patient I was treated exactly the same as a private patient, I cannot thank all the staff who were involved enough for their help and care
This review reflects the day and night nursing staff at the hospital and not the Consultant, Student Nurses, 'Care workers' and Pysiotherapists who certainly helped my get through an experience on hindsight that was traumatic:
Such a nice hospital, this is my second stay here and after my first stay, I asked for my surgery to be done here again. The staff are so friendly and nothing is to much trouble, such a professional team from the time of arrival to time of discharge..
On November 2019 I was a patient at the Alexandra Hospital.I had a total right knee replacement performed by Mr Sunil Jain.
Again in November 2020 Mr Sunil Jain performed the same procedure but on my left knee.
I cannot speak more highly of Mr Sunil Jain and his staff. His manor and skills are second to none.
Thank you so much. Tim Carroll.
Completely professional, especially in the reception procedures on arrival within the current Covid-19 crisis. Friendly and helpful staff. Everything impeccably clean throughout. I felt safe and cared for.
