The parking facilities are virtually non-existant !! The few parking bays outside of the hospital main entrance appear to be marked as "Taxi" bays, as a disabled Blue badge holder this means I have to arrange my carer to drive me to the hospital and then find somewhere to park and wait for me, there does not appear to be a designated dropping off space and with buses, taxis and private cars milling about I am of the opinion that it is only a matter of time before we have a serious accident. I have been informed that a multistorey car park is scheduled for the next building phase which has yet to start....Building a major hospital without any parking facilities is totally unacceptable, did the designers forget that there would be patients ??
