I have no concerns involving my care at Shalom House. The care team is impeccable. The only thing I would like to see is for it to be open for respite more often.

This home/day care has become an important part of my life. Initially I was able to get myself there but recently the kindness has increased and they have organized for a pick up half way, which is great and allows me to continue to attend. The home is in a perfect location for rest and views but logistically for the county is isolated. I have an 1 hour 36 mile journey to get there which is a long way when you feel poorly/hired. Pembrokeshire is spread. The staff are very caring and fun and the food is amazing.

The bed was uncomfortable and too small for my needs I appreciate that nothing can be done about this however. The food is excellent.

As a whole my care and treatment by all staff at Shalom have done everything in their power to support myself and my family. I have just spent five days respite at Shalom and I am going home feeling more relaxed at positive about my future. The only thing I could say of it not against staff or care at Shalom it would be beneficial to most patients if they had funding to do respite more often.
