for the Attention of DS - (Medilink RGN Stoma Specialist) I was little anxious when it was planned for you as RGN Stoma Specialist to review me after my colorectal surgery and register me with Medilink. Can I say a big thank-you ( hugs) for your patience, professionalism and valued empathy. After reviewing my concerns and providing me affirmations based on your vast knowledge and experience, my confidence to enable me to deal with my life-changing situation, has helped me to a better position; than the anxiety ridden one prior to your visit. I think your observation and commendation on the surgeons skill to have provided me with well constructed Stoma; highlights your vast knowledge experience and understanding. I’m sure you’re a highly valued individual and asset. May I thank-you for yesterday and look forward to your support going forward. Kind regards pk.

Suggested improvements
I think a noted/written form of the key areas of discussion at our 1st Medilink RGN Stoma Specialist Nurse review would be very helpful to help as an aide-memoir and to avoid future confusion or repetition. But Importantly a written list of all of the Medilink supplies, with dates, frequency, quantity, sizes, with the key contact numbers; would be valuable to help me manage my supplies. Most importantly Including the list of Stoma Bags with their features/benefits; such that I can explore all of the bag types available from a trusted organisation ( Medilink) along with the adhesive spray types, accessories to support my Stoma Care going forward ( e.g. stoma care strengthening exercise support belt types etc.) As opposed to multiple booklets. A comprehensive list of this information on one page(s)/booklet, is very important for you as an organisation and me as a patient.
