As in most hospitals, there are not enough nurses, and they are rushing all the time. However, those that we encountered, for the brief time they were available to us, were friendly, helpful and professional. Salisbury district hospital is light, airy and you can find parking - any time of the day or night!!!! The price is still pretty stiff, but at least you can get a pass if your family member is in for a longer stay. The walls are always interesting and bedecked with local art - one gets the impression that people care about the Hospital. It is not neglected, it is a place where people get involved and help. There is an energy, and hope. The cafeteria has a nice ambience and you can get a good cup of coffee there.
