Having been ill for several years I have had to gain treatment at several hospitals and I have to say Salford Royal has been the best. From the helpful friendly reception staff, appointments department telephonists, to the nurses,doctors and specialists, nothing is too much trouble and they seem to strive to go above and beyond. You certainly don't feel like just a number its more like visiting old friends. The hospital is spotlessly clean and from my experience runs like clockwork. They keep you informed of every step of treatment intended, they send required information quickly, appointment letters and copies of treatment plans or discussions arrive in a timely manner. They actually listen and hear what you are saying which I found to be a refreshing change. I can't recommend this hospital enough or its staff. The treatment I have received here has restored my faith in the medical profession.
