I was early on arrival and pleased to see the reception was open, the receptionist was very pleasant and booked me in, she had a very pleasant and warm attitude, the reception got very busy very quickly, I did have a short wait but we were advised this may happen, I met the anaesthetist who did his checks and asked if there were anything I wasn't sure of, it was at that time I met Prof Snow who answered the couple of questions on follow up info, I then had my final check over and questioner completed by a very thorough and competent member of your team, I was then taken to the ward and prepared for my operation, I was in the pre op facility by 9:45 and everyone was pleasant and reassuring and I was put very much at ease, I hardly noticed 10 am and I was away in slumberland, I came around just before noon and reassured all went well and information given me re recovery and things to do and not to do, I had a nice cup of tea before going back on the ward, the nurse's were great on on the ward there attention to ones needs and comfort was of a priority, again checks and monitors re temperature blood pressure etc, they also make excellent cups of tea, all in all a very good experience considering it was an operation. Thank you an excellent experience
