I have a very complex medical history and have had many referrals to R.L.I. both as an outpatient as an in patient. I have ALWAYS been treated with great care, compassion and patience and have never been made to feel a 'problem patient' because of my complex medical history. Early on in the COVID pandemic, I was admitted to R.L.I. and suffered from a takostubo cardiomyopathy and was not expected to survive. My family and I cannot praise the doctors, nurses and ALL the staff (medical and non medical) involved in my care and follow up, enough. I am aware of the tremendous pressure the N.H.S. is under at this time and think that not enough thanks and support is given to the staff.
