The private ward at the Royal Derby is impressive. My room was more of a suite, with a dining area, sitting area, sleeping area including wardrobes and drawers, and bedside table. Also a writing desk and chair. Large ensuite, all clean and well facilitated. Nursing team proficient and consistent, and clearly committed to their duties. Warm and kind
