Following a previous consultant’s misdiagnosis and failure to resolve a long standing knee issue years ago, I was referred to Mr Akrawi in November 2021.
He examined me and immediately identified an ACL problem with additional meniscus issues. This was confirmed by an MRI scan.
I had my ACL reconstruction surgery 10 days ago and I’m delighted with the results.
Mr Akrawi’s professionalism, diagnostic and communication skills and ultimately his surgical expertise are genuinely life-changing for me.
I’m very grateful to him, as well as his support staff of anaesthetists, doctors, nurses and physiotherapists, all of whom provided me with amazing primary care.
I found the service to be incredible, especially given the challenges facing the NHS presently.
Mr Akrawi and his team at Raigmore are a credit to the NHS.
