Doors being left to slam shut during night shifts, I don’t find this appropriate on a neuro ward. My daughter after her operation was woken on many occasions due to this and eventually after I raised my concerns 3 times we were relocated to the end of the ward. I asked for appeal to be used when removing my daughters 2nd cannula to be told it isn’t used on hands… appeal is an adhesive remover. Subsequently by pulling off the dressing the nurse left my daughter in tears. Not having 2 nurses come to the bed space to check patient identification before administering meds

Having consideration of the patient and parents during their stay, ensuring the night shift staff make minimal noise where it’s avoidable. Ensure patient identification is matched to the meds as this caused a great deal of unnecessary concern. Let patients use appeal if it makes the process less painful

I came for my eyelashes to remove.The nurse who look after me is so great! Vet expert and satisfied, well inform me what to do next. I am Happy and comfortable when I go home.
