Worst hospital I've ever had the misfortune of visiting, the wait times were ridiculous, people in the waiting room screaming in pain and no pain relief offered. 10 hours to see a doctor, I ended up discharging myself and driving 3 hours to my local hospital. Absolutely unacceptable

Long waiting time on Saturday so.i went home. Some had been there for 12 hrs. A few getting very annoyed so I felt anxious and in pain so I had to go home. I came back Sunday morning and my condition had worsened. My total time was 4 hours. Alot better.

I was there from 11.30 am till 9.45 pm. The lack of staff was unexceptionable. I was told I needed and bladder scan before they die coded if an mri was needed. The scan was nowhere to be seen so was sent home. My gp sent me to A&E for an mri and I was seen for a matter of minutes in all that time. Between 5pm and 8pm no doctor was on to see patients so they que’s got bigger and bigger. I will never choose to go to queens hospital A&E department again.

Suggested improvements
More staff. Less waiting times. Doctor to examine you properly. The discharge letter to my gp said I have a full neurological examination which was a lie

The doctor was supposed to see me and discuss my CT scan results and didn't. He/ she left the area and not discussed it with me. I was given a piece of paperwork instead...thanks for the personal touch...not

Suggested improvements
Engaged with your patient regarding their injury, treatment and prognosis and not just left me there in pain.

Constantly ignored when I called for help. Refused to give me food till I started crying for it Suddenly woken up at 4am by charge nurse and told to leave the department as discharged. Staff didn’t believe me when I said I was a patient. Horrible experience to witness staff openly maltreat you while being so nice and supportive to other patients. Discrimination. J hi ope they go through the same treatment from someone else.

Suggested improvements
Just treat everyone service user well. Don’t discriminate based on what patients look like or what you think of them based on just looking at them. Treat everyone same way you would expect to be treated.
