We were kept informed at all times of what was being done and we knew the staff looking after him by name. The doctor needed to handover to another doctor and he came to tell us that he was laving. The good doctor was Ben Collis and the nurse in the blue with red collar was very pleasant and smiled. Not forgetting the receptionist who was very courteous. Thank you.
Was seen really quickly was really helpful and Darren was really lovely. Great staff.
All requires are answered straight away. All processes are explained very well. All perfect.
Timing could be improved.
Its not clean at all.
The treatment and care once seen in Outpatients is very good, but the waiting times are horrendous. Our appointment time was 10.10 a.m. but we were not seen until close to 1.00 p.m. - every so often after arrival the nurses would come and up date a board with extended waiting times. We found that certain patients, up to 4 in one case, had all been given the same appointment time, to see the same doctor. How is one doctor supposed to see 4 different patients all at the same time? This was not the first time this had happened, the previous appointment we had 6 months previously had the same problems. More clinics need to be put on with less people waiting to see their doctor at the correct time allocated. No one minds waiting half an hour, even an hour, but more than that for elderly patients who can be quite frail anything more is unacceptable. It can't be good for the doctor to be under this stress to see so many people in such a short time either. Following the appointment the Pharmacy staff did a fantastic job getting out further medicines that had been prescribed, but again another 45 minute wait for medicine on top of an already extended appointment was very tiring and stressful.
I was nervous about the whole procedure but my Nurse Glenda reassured me that there was not him to be nervous about.
Thank you Glenda
Staff were nice and I felt comfortable
