Very good time wise, helpful, treated well
Doctor seemed to be confused went into one room no keyboard, then in another no mouse, then back into A E reception to show fracture on x Ray that was pointed out. Gave me a sling and told to go to reception to book fracture clinic appointment. They would not do that as doctor had not give me any information to give to reception. Sent somewhere that booked an appointment.
I felt it was a very satisfying experience overall
Was processed very quickly and looked after very well thereafter. CCU team so helpful and caring.
Me and my daughter was in a car accident. We got split up upon administration. The paramedics from the ambulance stayed with me until I had my X-rays, I was in and out of triage within 30 minutes. I then was waiting for my X-ray results on my own, while my mum was with my screaming daughter. I asked someone after 2 hours, if it would be any longer as my daughter needed me and I needed her. I got a very blunt and rude answer from the nurse who said there was a long wait. Which I fully understand as it was a strike day but the fact my 1 year old daughter was also in the hospital and I wasn’t with her was just causing me anxiety. After 4 hours I asked how long and was told it was going to be another 6-8 hours. At 10pm with my hungry daughter. I discharged myself and went home without finding out about the X-ray results. I’ve been medicating at home but I will be making a trip to king George’s hospital instead.
I believe this information can help contribute to the development of the NHS.
I spent 18 hours in A&E. I needed pain relief you lost my paperwork. I had a CT scan at 4pm. At mid night you informed me that you could not find the results of my scan and then sent me for a chest X-ray which does not give the same results. I was then admitted and that’s when my experience changed for the best. If you would like me to do a survey on my experience once admitted I would be more than happy to do so.
Queens has most definitely got the most outstanding nirses and doctors, especially the nurses, so kind so helpful, every single one. Best nurses out of all the other hospitals ive been/ visited.
I spent over 13 hours in a n e and left still with no answers just more worry. Then was booked an appointment but a doctor phoned to cancel it the next day and call my GP. I had an argument with a nurse over her rude manor and vile language to all staff and patients. She shouted at me and told me to shh. Very very rude and slamming things around I was in utter shock and disbelief - to a point where another of her staff had to take her away as she was getting so unnecessarily angry. The doctors I cannot fault were helpful, nurses however I cannot say the same. Still left with no answers!
Because I arrived at the hospital at 4.30pm and ended up getting discharged at 5am all my results were back at 8 pm but I had to wait and see a doctor which they kept telling me would be coming to see me shortly that never happened even though I heard the doctor in the cubical next to me ???? Not happy
