Review of Hyper-Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) written by a family member
21st September 2019

The care was extremely good. Improvements can be made: Despite age of 95 the patient should be spoken to rather than the relative. Deafness and slow understanding should be taken into account and the patient should not be dismissed because of slowness to comprehend and reply. Tireness is also a factor to be taken into account when assessing mental capacity. The patent also had problems with understanding the questions due to the accents of some staff. I realise the staff have a very difficult job to do and I am very grateful to them.

Review of Sunrise Ward A written by a family member
21st September 2019

My dad felt very comfortable on sunrise A. The nurses were amazing very kind and upbeat. Could have a bit more communication with doctors would be appreciated as the patient do not always understand whats happening but he was safe and well looked after.
