15th March 2024

At the beginning when I fractured my proximal humerus I had to chase the department regarding an appointment and to find out whether I was going to have surgery.

Suggested improvements
I had a virtual clinic appointment day after the fall. I was told over the phone to do the exercises. I had no leaflet no instructions on exercises. I had to google other NHS hospitals pdf files to see what exercises to do and how to form them and when. The only time BHR has given me exercises and showed me is at KGH physiotherapy which is after I came out of the sling. I am in my sixties but how does an elderly person who doesn’t have access to the internet or even be capable of using find out exercises to do at the beginning of fall and convalescence.
