Apparently a doctor does not have to speak to you, he/she can read your notes from the paramedics and decide on treatment without discussing it and getting your consent. A nurse can leave your notes in full view of other people, a breach of data protection. A nurse can decide to talk to you in front of several complete strangers about your illness giving personal details that you were unaware of. This is not acceptable surely?
