Felt I was on a production line, no information was provided as to what treatment was required. Was discharged prematurely as indicated by the fact a Doctor contacted me at home the following morning to ask why I was not still at the hospital as expected. On further investigation my notes had been marked as leaving without being discharged officially. THIS IS A LIE! I had to return to the hospital the following day where I was informed I was septic and subsequently waited 16 hours for a doctor to see me and subsequently admit me for treatment.
Suggested improvements
Don't tell lies on discharge notes and ensure adequate staffing levels. I am disgusted with the way I was treated and will be seeking advice on this matter.
