9th November 2022

despite arriving with a letter from my gp, l was made to queue for 5.5 hours before anyone read it, and sent me to a different section. The inital person who assessed me said "she hadn't got time to open the letter!" When l got to a&e surgical, who had been expecting me (my gp had telephoned them) it was 23.30 and l was told that there would a minimum of a 4 hour wait, at which point l went home to take over from my wife's carer. l was assured that if l came back morning l would be seen straight away. When l turned up at 08.00 l was told that l had been discharged. I was eventually seen an hour later and discharged in the afternoon
